Boston singer-songwriter, Petrina Foley brings a unique blend of soul infused rock that evokes vivid imagery, with well thought-out lyrics and fiery rock & roll arrangements.

Born and raised in Boston, Petrina fronted the roots rock band Oddway through 3 EP’s and a full length album release in 2007 along with regional and national touring, supporting such acts as The Samples, Vince Welnick of The Grateful Dead, Kyle Cook of Matchbox 20 and many others between 2002-2007.

After Oddway's disbandment in late 2007, Petrina focused her efforts on her solo EP, Proper Goodbye, with producers Sean McLaughlin (Elliot Smith, Maroon 5) and Brad McCarthy. Petrina takes every bit of fear, joy and knowledge from her experiences, and formulates them into every song, making each one clearly delivered reflections of her life that are carried through her true raw emotion.

After the release of Proper Goodbye in October of 2008, Petrina began focusing her efforts on her songwriting and defining her direction and vision for her future as a solo artist. In the Summer of 2013, Petrina released two new singles “For You” and “Just Can’t Take It”. Both singles embraced a more universal theme with their lyrics and sonically a more pop / rock production style in big credit to co-writer Josh Amara (former Oddway guitarist) and co-writer and Producer Brad McCarthy.

Throughout the next ten years, Petrina emersed herself full time into teaching voice lessons, something she is very passionate about, and performing locally and regionally with various General Business bands. As well as guest vocalist for the very popular Fleetwood Mac tribute act Little Lies in 2024.

She stayed busy in the recording studio as well as lead vocalist of the alternative rock and blues band ARC220 who released their 7 song EP - “Songs from the El Toro Lounge” in June of 2020. In that time Petrina was also writing and recording with the pop sonic group Another Heist releasing 6 singles and music videos for each single between 2020 and 2024. 

As we approach 2025, Petrina has been building a strong presence as a respected vocal coach and instructor for the South Shore MA area with her voice studio in Rockland, MA.
